The personalized guest service made our stay more enjoyable.
Our Standard Double Room was poorly maintained with noticeable cleanliness issues. The reception staff seemed indifferent to our concerns about the broken AC and unsecured patio door. After multiple complaints, there was no effort from the management to provide any resolution or compensation for our uncomfortable experience.

No criticism.

The rooms were neat and luxurious, they come with a balcony, bath and air-con. Everywhere there was immaculately clean. The staff were superbly friendly and gentle and provided very good service. Location: the hotel was just off the centre of town, and Avenue de Champagne and the city center.

Lovely vibes in Épernay 🍾✨
Alek was super helpful at the front desk, sorting out our dinner plans like a champ. And the bar vibe by the pool is just perfect for sippin' some bubbly after a long day of wine tastings! Plus, the decor has this cool old-world charm mixed with modern touches.
I did notice the breakfast area could use a bit more variety-felt a touch limited for my taste.

This was the second time we'd visited Villa Eugene and as before the standard of accommodation was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was delightful.
We do feel that the hotel is quite expensive and considering this, the extra 17 euros per person for breakfast was, we felt, excessive for what was on offer.

The hotel is in a beautiful old villa and the room which we had was immaculate, roomy and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful or accomodating, despite our pretty hopeless command of the French language.

We loved spending time by the pool and exploring local places like Avenue de Champagne and charming bistros. The staff were super friendly. The nearby area is clean, perfect for leisurely walks.
We were a bit surprised by the 15 Euros parking fee at checkout.

This was our third stay at La Villa Eugene, so we obviously like it. We have stayed in a different room on each occasion and all have been superb: spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished, with large, well-appointed bathroom. The breakfast room is beautiful and breakfast itself excellent for a continental breakfast. The hotel has no restaurant as such for evening meals, but this year was offering light meals for eating in the breakfast room. You are better advised walking into Epernay town centre (a twenty minute stroll up the Avenue de Champagne) to eat at one of the excellent restaurants there - the hotel reception has a list of the best ones and will happily book a table for you. The hotel staff are always very helpful and the girl on the reception desk phoned round several Champagne growers to try and organize visits for us. This is a lovely hotel and despite being on a main road the double glazing keeps noise to a minimum and the air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable. It's quite pricey, but we would recommend La Villa Eugene unhesitatingly.

Fabulous old house. The room was a tad expensive for what we got. We paid £350 for 2 nights and this was for an 'attic room'. There were much grander rooms in the hotel at much grander prices! All in all it was a lovely stay. There is no restaurant in the hotel but this did not bother us as there are many fine dining restaurants in the area.
